Jake was given a sheet where he had to search for various animals and bugs. Some of the animals were statues located throughout the grounds. He was funny because while he did look at the flowers and statues and such, he was really searching for these bugs and other insects on the sheet. Here is a statue of Virginia Dare. Born on August 18, 1587, she was the first child born in the new world.
Here is another statue in the gardens: Queen Elizabeth I. She is made of bronze and is the largest bronze statue of Queen Elizabeth I in the world.
The grounds are not too large, but we stopped a few times to rest.
